1.1 Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain data that are then implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This category of data includes, for example, IP addresses, the domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time slot of the request to the server, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

1.2 Cookie
Cookies are text files that the Site sends to the browser on the user’s computer. The browser saves the information and transmits it back to the Site’s server when the browser accesses the Site again.
The Site uses:
(a) session cookies, i.e. temporary cookies that remain in the cookie folder of the user’s browser until the browsing session ends;
(b) persistent cookies, i.e. cookies that remain in the browser folder for a longer time (depending on the duration of each cookie).
The use of session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and are deleted when the browser is closed) is intended to (I) facilitate navigation of the Site and the use of the applications accessible from the Site itself; and (II) to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check that it is working properly.
The use of persistent cookies is aimed at providing specific services requested by the user. For example, when registration is required by assigning user IDs and passwords, users are allowed to choose that these are kept so that they do not have to type them in at subsequent logins; this is done by installing a cookie on the user’s computer.
It is also possible to visit the Site without cookies. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can prevent the automatic registration of cookies by selecting the relevant option from those proposed by your browser. For further information on how to do this, please refer to your browser’s instructions. You can use your browser to delete any cookies already present on your hard drive at any time.
Choosing not to accept cookies from your browser may make it less easy to navigate the Site or limit the use of applications accessible from the Site.
